Hi, I’m Michael LaBash, a former Disney story artist and now an animation writer, director and show creator.

No surprise, my experience at Disney taught me a lot about storytelling. And especially character-based storytelling.

I’ve thought alot about how storyboards work and why they work. I’ve studied how storyboards fit into the process of making movies and tv shows. There’s a lot of information about storyboards out there and I want to make a contribution to that body of knowledge based on my particular  viewpoint.

StoryboardMax is a place for everyone interested in telling storeis through the medium of animation. No prior experience required!
